When She Returned by Lucinda Berry follows the unexpected return of Kate Bennett, who vanished from a parking lot eleven years ago leaving behind her husband and young daughter. Investigators suspect she was abducted by a cult, and as Kate tries to reintegrate into her old life, her family is thrown into turmoil. As the family navigates their new reality, they uncover shocking truths surrounding Kate’s disappearance, and it soon becomes clear that her true motives for returning are far from sinister.
