Join us for a Sunday evening of Meditation, Journaling, and Sound Healing with the Auckland Girl community. This monthly gathering is a chance to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself while also meeting other wellness focused women in a warm, welcoming environment. Each month we explore a new journaling theme designed to inspire reflection, spark conversation, and support your personal growth.
Whether you are craving stillness, feeling low on energy, or simply wanting to connect with likeminded women, this evening offers a nurturing reset for both body and mind.
Please arrive on time, as the doors will be locked from 7.10pm onwards to avoid disruption during the meditation.
Where: 1/1 Howe Street, Freemans Bay, Auckland 1011. Please enter through the white door marked SOMM (located within the Metier Building). The door will be closed. Once inside, take the stairs all the way to the top floor.
Parking: Street parking is available on and around Howe Street. We recommend arriving a little early to give yourself time to find a spot nearby.
What to Bring: Please bring your own journal and pen for the journaling portion of the evening.
About the Event: We’ll begin the evening with gentle introductions so everyone feels at ease and welcomed into the space. From there, you’ll be guided through a grounding breath awareness meditation to settle the mind and body before moving into the journaling practice. Using thoughtfully curated prompts, you’ll have the opportunity to reflect, explore your inner world, and put your thoughts onto paper in a way that supports clarity and self growth.
Once journaling is complete, you’ll be invited into a simple but meaningful connection exercise, giving you the chance to meet another woman in the group and share in conversation. This intentional moment of connection is often a highlight, as it allows for openness and new friendships to form. We’ll finish the evening with a restorative sound bath using crystal singing bowls, creating space for deep rest and integration so you leave feeling calm, supported, and renewed.
