About the Book: This month we are discussing In the Veins of the Drowning by Kalie Cassidy. Imogen Nel is a Siren in hiding, feared as a monstrous, blood hungry creature by a kingdom that hunts her kind. When a visiting king uncovers her secret, he sees her not as a threat but as the key to saving both their kingdoms. Bound together by blood, they flee across perilous waters filled with the undead. As their bond deepens and desire grows, Imogen realises the only way to kill the monster that hunts them may be to embrace the darkness within herself.
About the Event: Our monthly book clubs are a chance to connect with other women, share your thoughts, and see the story through a different lens. Guided questions help spark the conversation, but the best part is hearing what stood out for each person and where the discussion takes us. It’s relaxed, engaging, and always filled with plenty of laughs.
Please note: Your ticket secures your spot at the event. Food and drinks are not included, but there is a cafe next door if you would like to grab a coffee to bring with you.
