About the Book: This month we are discussing The Awakened Brain: The Psychology of Spirituality and Our Search for Meaning by Lisa Miller. Drawing on decades of research and clinical experience, Miller explores the neuroscience of spirituality and how an active spiritual life can positively influence our psychological and physical wellbeing. With a grounding in scientific research, she explains how spirituality can increase resilience, support healing, and reduce the likelihood of depression and substance abuse. Both inspiring and practical, this book offers a fresh perspective on mental health, purpose, and the deeper meaning we each seek in our lives.
About the Event: Our monthly book clubs are a chance to connect with other women, share your thoughts, and see the book through a different lens. Guided questions help spark the conversation, but the best part is hearing what stood out for each person and where the discussion takes us. It’s relaxed, engaging, and always filled with plenty of laughs.
Please note: Your ticket secures your spot at the event. Food and drinks are not included, but there is a cafe next door if you would like to grab a coffee to bring with you.
